Open Sundays, year-round from 10am-2pm on Laurel Avenue
Join us every Sunday on Laurel Avenue in the lovely historic business district of Takoma Park. You’ll find the freshest local, seasonal produce, breads, pasture raised meats, artisan cheese, eggs, baked goods and more from farms located within 125 miles of Takoma Park, MD. Each week, the market is a lively meeting place for residents and visitors. Street performers often set up along the sidewalks and non-profits share info at the Community Corner creating an enjoyable backdrop to market activities.
New this Season
The market welcomes two new vendors in 2016: Breezy Meadows Farm located in Lovettsville, Virginia, with pasture raised chickens, water buffalo and rabbit, and Spring Gap Mountain Creamery from the mountains of Paw Paw, West Virginia with raw milk cheeses from pasture-raised Jersey cows.
Lunch! Market vendors Cabin Creek Heritage Farm will offer pulled pork BBQ sandwiches and Breezy Meadows Farm will sell bison meatballs subs for shoppers to enjoy at the market.
Beer at the Market! Fill your growlers on Sunday, May 29th when Waredaca Brewing Company visits the market!
