Hours:

9:00 am – 10:00 am Senior and Immunocompromised Shopping ONLY (line up by 9:30 am)
10:00 am – 2:00 pm Regular Shopping Hours (line forms after 9:30am)


Covid-19 Market Safety Rules:

  1. Mask required for entry
  2. Enter  – Next to Suntrust Bank, 6931 Laurel Ave. Market will limit number of people in the market to ensure proper social distancing.
  3. Exit via Eastern Avenue
  4. Lines: Please stand 6′ apart in vendor lines.
  5. No more than 1-2 people per household. If possible, please leave children home.
  6. Only touch what you plan to purchase
  7. Shop and leave quickly (please do not use benches inside market)
  8. Practice social distancing by maintaining 6′ from others in line and in market
  9. No bikes or dogs (except service animals) allowed inside market

Join us every Sunday on Laurel Avenue in the lovely historic business district of Takoma Park. You’ll find the freshest local, seasonal produce, breads, pasture raised meats, artisan cheese, eggs, baked goods and more from farms located within 125 miles of Takoma Park, MD. Each week, the market is a lively meeting place for residents and visitors. Street performers often set up along the sidewalks and non-profits share info at the Community Corner creating an enjoyable backdrop to market activities. Picnic blankets are available at the market ATM to check out and enjoy market goodies on the TP SDA Church lawn.

Bring Your Bags to the Market

Be sure to bring your reuseable shopping bags to the market or you can purchase one at the market’s ATM booth. As of December 1, 2016, the City of Takoma Park has banned plastic shopping bags at the point of sale.
