Join us every Sunday behind the shops on Laurel Avenue (entrance 6931 Laurel Ave) in lovely historic, Takoma Park. You’ll find the freshest local, seasonal produce, breads, pasture raised meats, artisan cheese, eggs, baked goods and more from farms located within 125 miles of Takoma Park, MD. See seasonal produce list HERE. Each week, the market is a lively meeting place for residents and visitors.

Scavenger Hunt on Sunday, October 27th

On Sunday, October 27th, the market is celebrating Halloween this weekend with a Scavenger Hunt. Go to the market’s website or social media to grab a copy of the Scavenger Hunt or pick one up at the market info booth Fun for the family. Complete on 10/27 and enter the form at the form for a drawing at the market info booth. Winners will be picked on 11/3. Winners receive bags of market apples!


Get ready, pie lovers!
The Takoma Park Farmers Market Annual Pie Contest is Sunday, September 15th on Laurel Ave.

There are two ways to participate!

(1) BAKE Enter your best pie using any seasonal ingredient found at the market – sweet or savory! Pies will be judged by celebrity judges and prizes will be awarded.

(2) EAT At the conclusion of the contest, all of the delicious pies are sliced and offered to the public for a donation. All donations received go to the Takoma Park Farmers Market Federal Benefit Match Program to increase benefits used at the market.

Schedule:
Pie Delivery: 10:30 am -11:00 am
Judging: 11:00 am – 12:30 pm
Pie slice tickets for sale: starting at 12:00 noon
Winners Announced: 12:30 pm
Pie Slices Available: 12:30 pm
