Open Sundays, Year-round From 10:00 am-2:00 pm.

Join us every Sunday behind the shops on Laurel Avenue (entrance 6931 Laurel Ave) in lovely historic, Takoma Park. You’ll find the freshest local, seasonal produce, breads, pasture raised meats, artisan cheese, eggs, baked goods and more from farms located within 125 miles of Takoma Park, MD. See seasonal produce list HERE. Each week, the market is a lively meeting place for residents and visitors. Street performers often set up along the sidewalks and non-profits share info at the Community Corner creating an enjoyable backdrop to market activities.

Takoma Park Farmers Market Pie Contest is Sunday, September 18, 2022:

The Takoma Park Farmers Market Annual Pie Contest is Sunday, September 18th, 2022. Enter your best 1 or 2 crust pie using any seasonal ingredient found at the market – sweet or savory! Pies will be judged by celebrity judges and prizes will be awarded. At the conclusion of the contest, all pies will be sliced and offered to the public for a donation. All donations received will go to the Takoma Park Farmers Market SNAP (food stamp) Match Program. Join us and bake for a great cause, and if you don’t bake – plan to come eat! All pies will be sliced and available for sale at the conclusion of the event.

Pick and choose to make up your own market box from a long list of fresh fruit and produce, including greens from the greenhouses, as well as our own jarred goods. Bring Your Bags to the Market

Be sure to bring your reuseable shopping bags to the market or you can purchase one at the market’s ATM booth. As of December 1, 2016, the City of Takoma Park has banned plastic shopping bags at the point of sale.
