Join us every Sunday behind the shops on Laurel Avenue (entrance 6931 Laurel Ave) in lovely historic, Takoma Park. You’ll find the freshest local, seasonal produce, breads, pasture raised meats, artisan cheese, eggs, baked goods and more from farms located within 125 miles of Takoma Park, MD. Takoma Park Farmers Market Pie Contest, Sunday, September 17th

Thanks to all those who participated! The Takoma Park Farmers Market Annual Pie Contest returns on Sunday, September 17th, 2023 on Laurel Ave. Enter your best 1 or 2 crust pie using any seasonal ingredient found at the market – sweet or savory! Pies will be judged by celebrity judges and prizes will be awarded. At the conclusion of the contest, all pies will be sliced and offered to the public for a donation. All donations received will go to the Takoma Park Farmers Market Federal Benefit (food stamp) Match Program. Join us and bake for a great cause. If you don’t bake – plan to come eat! All pies will be sliced and available for sale at the conclusion of the event.

Pie Delivery: 11:00am-11:30am
Judging: 11:30am-1:00pm
Sliced Pie Tickets For Sale: starting at 12:00pm
Winners Announced: 1:00pm
Pie Slices Available: 1:00pm
